Tobias Skerka (born May 19, 1975 in Rendsburg ) is a German handball player .

The 1.92 meter tall left back player played from 1999 to 2000 for SG Flensburg-Handewitt , from January 2001 to June 2001 for TuS Nettelstedt , from October 2002 to May 2004 for Stralsund HV , from July 2004 to January 2005 at VfL Fredenbeck and from January 2005 to February 2008 active for Ahlener SG .

In March 2007 he suffered a shoulder injury that left him out until the end of the season. When Ahlen coach Holger Kaiser was dismissed, Skerka led the training together with the former assistant coach Frank Wolters until the end of the season.

Skerka played for VfL Bad Schwartau from February 2008 to May 2010 . He then took over the coaching position of the third division club SV Henstedt-Ulzburg . Under his leadership, the SVHU rose to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2012. After SVHU was relegated again in 2013, the team returned to the second division a year later. Then Skerka had to resign from his coaching position for professional reasons. Until the end of 2014 Skerka played for the 2nd team of SV Henstedt-Ulzburg, which played in the regional league. Between February and April 2016, he helped out in nine second division games at VfL Bad Schwartau.

From the 2017/18 season Skerka looked after the upper division TSV Ellerbek . For the 2019/20 season, he took over third division club HG Hamburg-Barmbek .

Skerka is an electrical engineer with a degree.
