Christoph Wischniewski (born May 9, 1987 in Rendsburg ) is a German handball player .

Career

The 1.88 m tall native of Rendsburg started playing handball in the neighboring village at Büdelsdorfer TSV . At TSV Altenholz , the right wing player , who can also be used in the backcourt , gained his first experience in the 2nd handball league . In 2006 the left-hander moved to Ahlener SG , with whom he spent more years in the 2nd division until 2010. After Ahlen entered a syndicate with the new Bundesliga club ASV Hamm , he switched to the second division club HG Saarlouis . After only one season, however, he returned to the 3rd division in Ahlen. In February 2012 he joined the HC Empor Rostock to play in a higher class again. After his contract was not renewed in the summer of 2013, he signed with third division club SV Henstedt-Ulzburg , with whom he was promoted to the 2nd Bundesliga in 2014. In 2014 he also won the HVSH Cup. For the 2014/15 season, the economics student moved to VfL Bad Schwartau . On July 11, 2017, the third division HG Hamburg-Barmbek announced the commitment of the left-hander. In 2018 he was relegated to the league with Barmbek. With the HGHB, he managed to get promoted back to the 3rd League North as Oberliga master Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein in the 2019/20 season .
