Lars Bastian (born July 20, 1986 in Flensburg ) is a former German handball player .

Career

Bastian started playing handball at TSV Nord Harrislee . In 1999, the outside player joined the SG Flensburg-Handewitt . In Flensburg Bastian initially played in the youth division and then in the second men's team. Now and then he was part of the Bundesliga team. In the 2011/12 season, Bastian was a member of the Bundesliga team for the entire season. With the SG he won the European Cup Winners' Cup in 2012 . From 2012 Bastian went hunting for goals for the second division club SV Henstedt-Ulzburg . In the summer of 2014 he moved to HC Elbflorenz . After HC Elbflorenz was promoted to the 2nd handball Bundesliga in May 2017, Bastian ended his active handball career. His last home game was against SG LVB Leipzig on matchday 29, in which he scored two goals from the seven-meter point. HC Elbflorenz could decide the game for themselves, which made the Dresdner early champions. In February 2018, Bastian was reactivated by the upper division HSG Ostsee N / G , for whom he was active until the end of the 2017/18 season.
