Nina Schilk (born July 9, 1989 in Hamburg ) is a former German handball player who last played for the Bundesliga club Thuringian HC .
Career
Nina Schilk started playing handball at HSG Nahe 08 / Oering. Then she ran for Leezener SC and TSV Bargteheide. In the 2003/04 season she played for SG Oeversee-Jarplund-Weding , 2004/05 for Ahrensburger TSV and 2005/06 for SV Henstedt-Ulzburg . Then Schilk joined VfL Bad Schwartau . Schilk played with the women's team of VfL Bad Schwartau in the regional league . In 2009 she moved to the upper division Ahrensburger TSV.
Schilk signed a contract with TSV Travemünde in the summer of 2010 , with which she played in the 2nd Bundesliga . In 2012 she moved to the third division SV Henstedt-Ulzburg. In the 2014/15 season Schilk ran for the second division SG Handball Rosengarten . She scored 126 goals in the field this season and celebrated promotion to the Bundesliga at the end of the season. She then signed a contract with Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen . In the summer of 2017 she switched to Thuringian HC . Due to a herniated disc , however, she only made her debut for the THC shortly before the end of the 2017/18 season. With the Thuringian HC she won the German championship in 2018. After Schilk took a pregnancy-related break from summer 2018, she ended her career after the 2018/19 season.
Private
Her mother Ingrid Schilk also played handball and was part of the German national team . Her father Claus trained the second division club VfL Oldesloe .
