Ingrid Schilk (born November 18, 1959 in Flensburg , born Ingrid Fietz ) is a former German handball player who played for the German national team during her career .

Career

Ingrid Schilk played for TSV Jarplund-Weding for a total of 18 years . She contributed to the fact that the women's team rose from the district league to the Bundesliga in six years . During her time in the Bundesliga, Schilk was appointed to the German national team, for which she played a total of seven international matches.

Ingrid Schilk took over as coach of the upper division VfL Oldesloe in the summer of 1989 , but she had to help out as a player over and over again during the season. From the following season, in which VfL competed in the regional league, she no longer exercised the coaching activity and was only active as a player. After VfL celebrated promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga at the end of the season , she switched to the 2nd team of VfL Oldesloe. A season later she returned to the second division squad of the first team.

Private

Her daughter Nina Schilk also plays handball. Her husband Claus trained VfL Oldesloe .
