Alexander Fischinger (born April 10, 1964 in Triberg ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach .
Soccer
From 1970 to 1995 Fischinger played at FC Schonach. In 1996 he acquired the coach B license and began his coaching career two years later as an assistant coach at the FC Teningen club . In 1999 he switched to his hometown club FC Schonach in the district league as a coach before taking over the A-youth team from the former German champions Freiburg FC in 2000 . From 2001 to 2003 Fischinger coached the A-youth of FC Denzlingen , in 2002 he acquired the coach-A license in Hennef . From 2003 he was the coach of the national league team Sportfreunde Elzach-Yach until he took over the women's Bundesliga team at SC Freiburg on January 1, 2008 . From this position he resigned on September 5, 2008 after critical comments about what in his opinion were too low player salaries. For the 2009/10 season, Fischinger was the coach of the SV Endingen club, where he threw in the towel shortly before the end of the season. At the end of 2011 he took over the coaching position at SV Waldkirch , with whom he won the South Baden Association Cup in 2014, but was dismissed in April 2015. From 2015 to 2016, Fischinger was the successor to Sven Kahlert as coach of the women's Bundesliga team at SC Sand .
In 1999, Fischinger founded the Alitom football school together with Thomas Schweizer and Alfons Higl, which offers football training for children and young people on a commercial basis.
Personal
Fischinger is married and has one daughter. In 1995, on his bachelorette party , he suffered a triple pelvic fracture and serious injuries to both wrists and one knee when friends pulled him up on a rope for fun, which then tore eight meters above the ground. As a result of the injuries, he had to end his career as a football player.
