Sven Kahlert

Sven Kahlert (born October 14, 1970 in Dresden ) is a German football coach .

Career

Kahlert initially took over the post of assistant coach at the women's Bundesliga club 1. FFC Frankfurt for the 2009/10 season and in October 2009 he succeeded the dismissed head coach Günter Wegmann . Kahlert, who had looked after male youth teams at 1. FSV Mainz 05 and the Offenbacher Kickers before moving to FFC , led the team to victory in the DFB Cup in 2011 . On September 12, 2012, he was given leave of absence from FFC Frankfurt.

In March 2013, he took over the coaching position at Bundesliga competitor FCR 2001 Duisburg . After almost all the players had switched to Meidericher Spielverein 02 eV Duisburg due to the insolvency of FCR 2001 Duisburg , Kahlert was now the coach of MSV Duisburg. The separation followed in May 2014 after he had held the class with the team.

In December 2014 Kahlert became coach of the relegation-threatened women's Bundesliga club SC Sand . In August 2015 he left the women's Bundesliga team, also after successfully staying in the league, and became head of the youth performance center of SV Wehen Wiesbaden .
