Men's team

The men's team of FC Denzlingen received the first major attention in the 1987/88 season, when they were promoted to the Landesliga Südbaden as champions of the Freiburg District League. Two years later, the league was made into the South Baden Association. This had to be abandoned after a year, but two years later he was promoted as runner-up on the promotion round.

One of the greatest successes in the club's history was winning the South Baden Association Cup and the associated entry into the 1st DFB Cup main round , where Hamburger SV had to admit defeat 3-0. Another highlight was the 1998/99 championship in the association league, which also meant promotion to the Baden-Württemberg Oberliga . After three league seasons in 2002, however, the march back to the association league and two years later even to the national league had to be started.

However, as the only one of the five association league relegated at the time, FC Denzlingen succeeded in making an immediate return to South Baden's top division, so that the FCD was back in the association league from the 2005/06 season. The team in the Südbadischer Verbandspokal 2005/06 attracted attention, where they pushed through to the final and only had to bow to regional division SC Pfullendorf in extra time with 0-2.

As champions of the Association League Südbaden 2008/09, FC Denzlingen played again in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in 2009/10 . There, the Denzlingers only took 16th place in the table and immediately relegated back to the association league. In 2015 he was relegated to the regional league, but in 2016 he was promoted back to the association league.

In the following season, the team became champions of the district league and the following year also state league champions. After the runner-up in the first league year, the women secured the South Baden championship title twice in a row. While the promotion had been waived after winning the first title, the team entered the fourth-class Oberliga Baden-Württemberg in the 2011/12 season , but was relegated back to the Association League South Baden at the end of the season.
