Carmen Höfflin (born March 16, 1985 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Carmen Höfflin grew up in Bötzingen am Kaiserstuhl and began her football career at FC Bötzingen when she was four; there she played the entire youth with boys. At the age of 16, Höfflin joined the Bundesliga team of SC Freiburg in 2001 . She scored her first Bundesliga goal on May 16, 2005 in a 5-1 win against Hamburger SV . Carmen Höfflin played for SCF until 2006, after which she took a break due to injury and her job with the police.
After a long break, Höfflin started playing football again in the 2009/10 season, this time with the FC Denzlingen club . There she was the leader and goalscorer of the league. In both seasons she was the association league champion and top scorer with FC Denzlingen.
For the 2011/12 season Höfflin moved again for three seasons to the Bundesliga team of SC Freiburg. In 2014 she went to the newly promoted Bundesliga SC Sand , where she was under contract for one season. From 2015 to 2018 she played for the association league club SV Gottenheim .
Carmen Höfflin was a member of the national police team. There she won the European Championship as a regular player in 2012, which was held for the first time in Denmark.
