Viña Delmar
Viña Delmar (born January 29, 1903 in New York City as Alvina Croter , † January 19, 1990 in Los Angeles ) was an American writer and screenwriter .
Viña Delmar celebrated her breakthrough in 1928 with the novel risky Bad Girl , the three years of the most successful books of the year in the US and later made into a film was. She worked as a screenwriter in Hollywood in the 1930s and 1940s. It was nominated for an Oscar in 1938 for The Terrible Truth in the category of Best Adapted Screenplay .
She was married to Eugene Delmar. Her son, director Gray Delmar, died in a car accident in 1966.
