Corina Schröder , nickname Coco , (born August 15, 1986 in Wesel ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Schröder began her career at SV Blau-Weiß Dingden . This was followed by a change to the girls' team at HSC Dingden-Berg . She came to FCR 2001 Duisburg via SV Brünen in 2001 . In 2003 she made her Bundesliga debut against VfL Wolfsburg . With Duisburg she was runner-up in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. In 2003, 2007 and 2009 she and her team were in the final of the DFB Cup , but could only win the 2009 final against 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam , where she was not used. Also in 2009 she won the UEFA Women's Cup with Duisburg against the Russian representative Zvezda 2005 Perm . Again, she was not used in either game.

The move to Potsdam for the 2009/10 season went to Schröder together with Fatmire Bajramaj . With Turbine she won the DFB Indoor Cup , the German championship and the UEFA Women's Champions League in 2010 . In the 2010/11 season she defended the German championship title with her club and reached the final of the DFB Cup. For the 2011/12 season, Schröder moved to SC 07 Bad Neuenahr.

On February 14, 2013, she dissolved her contract with SC 07 Bad Neuenahr and moved hours later to the English WSL for Liverpool LFC , with which she won the English championship for the first time in 2013. After successfully defending her title in 2014 , she extended her contract for another two years.

In March 2016, Schröder moved to Birmingham City LFC . There she was the first foreign player in the club's history. Due to a knee injury, she was rarely used during the season. She then dissolved her contract in Birmingham at the end of 2016 and returned to Germany. At the end of May 2017, Schröder ended her career and started a job at Condor Flugdienst .

International career

With the U-20 national team , she took part in the 2006 World Cup and reached the quarter-finals.
