The national football team of Paraguay women represents Paraguay in international women's football . The national team is subordinate to the Paraguayan Football Association and is coached by Nelson Basualdo. The selection took part in four previously held CONMEBOL South American Championships , with fourth place in 2006 being the greatest success so far. The selection of Paraguay has not yet participated in a World Cup or the Olympic Games. So far, apart from Mexico and Panama , the team only played against South American teams. All games were played away or on a neutral pitch.
