The Peruvian national soccer team represents Peru in international women's soccer . The national team is subordinate to the Football Association of Peru and is coached by Jaime Duarte. The selection took part in four of the previously held CONMEBOL South American Championships , with third place in the first participation in 1998 being the greatest success so far. The selection of Peru has not yet taken part in a World Cup or the Olympic Games. After missing the qualification for the 2007 World Cup, there was an almost three-year international break before four games were played again in November 2009. The last win was over eight years ago (2-1 against Bolivia on November 15, 2006). Apart from Panama , Peru has only played against South American teams so far.
