The Panamanian women's national football team represents Panama in international women's football . The national team is subordinate to the Panamanian Football Association and is coached by Gaspar Perez. The Panamanian selection has so far qualified twice for the CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup , the North American women's soccer championship. The Panamanian selection has not yet participated in a World Cup or the Olympic Games. Between July 18, 2007 (2-0 loss to Mexico in the Pan American Games ) and March 6, 2013 (3-2 loss to Guatemala in the tournament in Costa Rica , in which the team finished fourth), led the team did not go through any games and therefore fell out of the FIFA world rankings . After the games in Costa Rica, the team is back in the world rankings.
