The Guatemalan women's national soccer team represents the Central American state of Guatemala in international women's soccer . The team played their first international game on August 30, 1998 against Puerto Rico , which they won 8-0. Except against China, against which the biggest defeat is recorded, Guatemala has only played against North, Central and South American teams so far.

At the 1998 CONCACAF Women's Championship , the national team achieved their best ever result. At the tournament in Canada , she came fourth behind Canada , Mexico and Costa Rica .
