After further stints in Russia and England, Jakobsson moved to Bundesliga promoted BV Cloppenburg for the 2013/14 season , but could not prevent relegation and left the club at the end of the season. Jakobsson has played for the French first division club Montpellier HSC since the 2014/15 season. After completing her first season at HSC Montpellier, Jakobsson was awarded the trophy for the best female footballer of the season in Division 1 Féminine , which the French national association FFF awards every year. In the 2016/17 season she was runner-up with Montpellier, to which she contributed 14 goals in 12 games as the fourth-best league goalie. The team had qualified for the round of 32 of the 2017/18 UEFA Women's Champions League . In this she was able to secure a place in the round of 16 after a 0-1 home defeat against Zvezda 2005 Perm with two goals in the second leg of her team. She scored one more goal each in the round of 16 against ACF Brescia and in the quarter-finals against the Chelsea Ladies . However, both games were lost against the Chelsea Ladies, so that Montpellier was eliminated. The following season she scored just seven goals and Montpellier missed the Champions League in third.

Shortly after the 2019 World Cup, her move to CD Tacón became known, where she will initially play with her compatriot Kosovare Asllani and then, after Real Madrid took over the license for the league , play for the Madrilenians.

With the U-19 team, she reached the final of the U-19 European Women's Football Championship in 2009 , which was lost 2-0 to England. With five goals she was the tournament's top scorer. By reaching the semi-finals, the Swedes had already qualified for the U-20 World Cup in Germany , which they took part in in 2010. She scored one goal in four games, but failed in the quarterfinals to Colombia. On May 17, 2011, she made her first A international match in the 2-0 draw against England. In the first round game, she was substituted on in the 54th minute, but was initially not used again. In the semifinals against Japan she was substituted on when the score was 1: 3.
