The Ukrainian national football team represents Ukraine in international women's football . The national team is subordinate to the Ukrainian Football Association and is coached by Anatolij Kuzew . The Ukrainian selection is the first time for the 10th Women's Football Championship 2009 in Finland qualified . The Ukrainian selection has not yet qualified for World Championships and Olympic Games .

In qualifying for the 2011 World Cup , the team faced Poland , Hungary , Romania and Bosnia and Herzegovina in an Eastern European group . The decision about the group victory was only made in the last game between Poland and Ukraine, although a draw in Ukraine would have been enough for the Poles to make it into the playoffs. The Poles also took the lead 1-0, but in the second half the Ukrainians were able to turn the game around and reach the playoff round with a 3-1 with the lowest number of points of all group winners, but in which they reached the second round in Italy failed.

The highest place in the FIFA world rankings was occupied with position 16 from June 2008 to June 2009, after which Ukraine fell back to position 24 (December 2013).

Ukraine are the only European team to have suffered one of their biggest losses to a South American team ( Brazil ).
