The Kazakh women's national football team is the national team of the Central Asian state of Kazakhstan . The football association is the Qasaqstannyng Futbol Federazijassy . The team played their first official international match against Hong Kong in 1995 , before the country was part of the Soviet Union. history
The Kazakh team played their first games at the 1995 Asian Cup, for which no qualification was required. But there, as in the two following participations, she could not survive the preliminary round. After Kazakhstan switched to UEFA, the team took part in qualifying for the 2005 European Championship for the first time . In Category B, the team fought for promotion to Category A, which would have made it possible to qualify for the 2009 European Championship. The promotion succeeded just as little as in the qualification for the EM 2009 surviving the first qualifying round. In qualifying for the 2011 World Cup , the team met Russia , Ireland , Switzerland and Israel . Kazakhstan played against a German-speaking team for the first time on March 27, 2010 in a game against Switzerland. Kazakhstan lost all games, even if very narrowly 0: 1 and 1: 2. The 8-0 win against the Russians, however, was the Russians' highest international win. In the end, Kazakhstan took the last place in the table. The Kazakh team has not yet qualified for the Olympic football tournaments.
