Trivia
After 16 defeats in a row, Estonia celebrated their first victory in a European Championship qualification. This ended the longest series of defeats in the history of European Championship qualification.
In its first appearance, Armenia set a new negative record for category B with 53 goals conceded without a goal of their own (when there were no two categories, Slovenia set the still existing record of 0:60 goals in 1995).
In addition, Armenia set the record for Slovenia with three double-digit losses .
