Yallop moved from Lynn-Avon United in the USA to Pali Blues in the USL W-League in 2009 . The following year she moved to the Swedish Damallsvenskan to Kristianstads DFF , but soon returned to New Zealand and played for Fencibles United AFC. From 2011 to 2015 she played again in Sweden for Vittsjö GIK , first in the Elitettan and since 2012 in the Damallsvenskan. This was followed by a detour to Australia to Brisbane Roar , before she returned to Sweden for the 2016 season and played for Mallbackens IF . After the end of the season , which Mallbacken finished in last place in the table, with which the club relegated to the Elitettan, she moved to Australia , where she received a contract with Melbourne Victory in December . She left Australia at the end of January 2017 and returned to Scandinavia , where she signed with Klepp IL in the Norwegian Toppserien .

National team

Yallop was the captain of the U-20 team at the U-20 World Cup in Russia in 2006 , but retired with her team after the group matches. She played for the New Zealand women's national soccer team for the first time back in 2004 , but was not considered for the 2007 World Cup, although she and Nicola Smith were the top scorer in the 2007 Oceania women's soccer championship . A year later, she took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing with the New Zealand national team. There, too, New Zealand was eliminated in the preliminary round. She did not take part in the following Oceania Championships , but was nominated for the 2011 World Cup , but only used in one of the three group games. In 2012, she took part with the New Zealand national team at the Olympic Games in London , where New Zealand survived the preliminary round for the first time. In the quarterfinals, however, came the end against the eventual Olympic champion USA. On May 14, 2015, she was appointed to the squad for the 2015 World Cup . She only played one minute in the last group game against China , then retired with her team after the preliminary round. She was also nominated for the 2016 Olympic Games. On July 28, 2016, she made her 100th international match in the last test before the games in a 4-1 win against South Africa , the biggest win of an oceanic team against an African team. At the Olympic Games she only came on for a short stint when she was substituted on in the 71st minute in the 2-0 draw against defending champions USA. In 2017, she had one more appearance at the Cyprus Cup and two friendly matches against the USA in September.
