Anissa Tann-Darby

Anissa Tann , also Tann-Darby , (born October 10, 1967 in Sydney ) is a former Australian soccer player . The defender was an Australian national player .

She played u. a. for the NSW Sapphires and the Marconi Stallions. She made her international debut in 1988 at the Women's FIFA Invitational Tournament in China, the forerunner of the World Cup. The Australians could not qualify for the 1991 World Cup. At the 1995 World Cup and the World Cup in 1999 took part Tann in both tournaments Australia eliminated in the preliminary round from. Even at the domestic Olympic Games in Sydney in 2000, the team did not get beyond the group stage. By 2002, Tann had played a total of 102 international matches and scored eight goals. In late 2002 she was tested positive for nandrolone during a doping control and was banned for two years.
