Daphne Helena Koster (born March 13, 1981 in The Hague ) is a former Dutch soccer player .

The defender was the captain of the Dutch national team for several years .

Koster began her career at the age of six at SVA Assendelft . In 2000 she moved to VV Ter Leede in Sassenheim . With Ter Leede she won the Dutch championship in 2001, 2003, 2004 and 2007 and the Dutch Cup in 2001 and 2007. In 2004 and 2005 she was voted the best player in the league. In 2007 she moved to AZ Alkmaar and was able to win further championships in 2008 and 2009. In the summer of 2009 Koster moved to the USA to de Sky Blue FC and returned to AZ Alkmaar in January 2011. After half a year for AZ, she tried her luck at Telstar . In the 2011/2012 season Koster only made 8 appearances due to an injury and signed on May 26, 2012 for the newly founded women's football department of AFC Ajax Amsterdam . In the summer of 2017, she ended her active career after four years at Ajax Amsterdam.

On August 27, 1997, she made her debut in a game against Switzerland in the Dutch national team. She has scored seven goals in 136 international matches. She was also in the squad for the EM 2013 and was used in all three group games, but was eliminated with her team after the preliminary round.
