societies

After stints in England with Colchester United , New Zealand with Lynn-Avon United and in the North American W-League with FC Indiana and Ottawa Fury , Percival moved to the German Bundesliga for 1. FFC Frankfurt in summer 2011 . She made her debut for Frankfurt on the first match day of the 2011/12 season in a home win against SG Essen-Schönebeck . At the end of the 2011/12 season she left Frankfurt and signed a contract with FF USV Jena on May 9, 2012 . After four years, Percival did not renew her contract in the summer of 2016 and left the FF USV Jena. She then signed with FC Basel , to which she moved together with her teammate Stenia Michel . With Basel she was runner- up in the 2017/18 season. For the 2018/19 season she moved to West Ham United . The club had received a license for the FA Women's Premier League for the new season. In 2019, Percival moved to Tottenham Hotspur.

National team

Percival played for the U-20 selection in their country at the U-20 World Championships in 2006 and 2008 , but was eliminated in each case in the preliminary round.

She made her senior team debut on November 14, 2006 in a game against China . She was part of her country's selections at the 2007 , 2011 and 2015 World Cups , as well as the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2012 Summer Olympics . Percival made her 50th international match on March 9, 2011 at the age of 21 years and 94 days, making her the youngest player in New Zealand national team history to hit that mark.

On February 8, 2015, she made her 100th international match in a 1-1 draw against North Korea as the second New Zealander after Abby Erceg .

She was also nominated for the 2016 Olympic Games. Percival was used in the three group games after which New Zealand was eliminated.

On November 25, 2018, she replaced the resigned Abby Erceg as New Zealand's record national player in the 10-0 win against Fiji in the 2018 Oceania Women's Soccer Championship with her 133rd international match. The New Zealanders won the tournament with five wins and scored 43 goals. This qualified them for the 2019 World Cup and the 2020 Olympic Games . At the end of April she was nominated for the World Cup in France .

Of her 14 goals so far, she has scored nine at Oceania Championships (2007: 2, 2010: 4, 2014: 2 and 2018: 1), which she won with her team.
