In addition, she was elected to the "Best Eleven" of the Japanese league in 2005 and 2006. In January 2010 Nagasato moved to the German Bundesliga club 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam , with whom she was German champion three times in a row. Nagasato also won the Champions League with Turbine in 2010 . After the cup final in 2013, she announced her departure from 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam to the English FA WSL club FC Chelsea .

In July 2013 she moved to Chelsea , becoming the first Japanese player in the FA Women's Super League . On January 3, 2014, she completed a medical check-up at the German champions VfL Wolfsburg and initially signed a contract with Wolfsburg that was valid from summer 2015. One day later, VfL Wolfsburg signed them for the second half of the 2014/2015 season. In summer 2015 she moved to 1. FFC Frankfurt . After 45 games in the UEFA Women's Champions League , DFB Cup and Allianz Women's Bundesliga for 1. FFC Frankfurt, Nagasato moved to the NWSL participant Chicago Red Stars on May 24, 2017 .

National team

On April 22, 2004 Nagasato made his Olympic qualification debut in a 6-0 win over Thailand in the Japanese national team. For the Olympic Games in Athens she was not considered and only 13 months after her debut did she score her first two international goals in a 6-0 win against New Zealand on May 21, 2005. She then took part in the World Championships in 2007 and 2011 , where she was able to win the latter tournament. Nagasato also played in the 2008 Summer Olympics and after her marriage as Ōgimi at the 2012 Summer Olympics . There she was used in all six games and scored the first goal for Japan in all three games of the knockout round. a. in the final, lost 1: 2 against the USA , and won the silver medal with their team.

On July 25, 2013, she made her 100th international match at the East Asian Cup against North Korea .

She scored her 50th international goal in the 2014 Asian women's soccer match against Vietnam on May 16, 2014 and won the title with Japan for the first time. The Japanese had already qualified for the 2015 World Cup when they reached the semi-finals.

Like her sister Asano, she was nominated for the World Cup . While Yūki was used in all seven games and did not miss a minute, Asano was only substituted for 15 minutes in the last group game against Ecuador , when coach Norio Sasaki spared some regular players. They only stood together on the pitch for 15 minutes. In this game, Yūki scored in the 5th minute the goal to win 1-0, which Japan won three World Cup group games for the first time. She also scored a goal in the final against the USA. The USA had already presented four goals, so their goal only gave rise to hope for a short time. In the second half hopes increased after an own goal by the US girls, but two minutes later the gap was restored with a 5: 2 and the further Japanese efforts to attack failed because of the physically superior defense of the USA.

At the qualifying tournament for the 2016 Olympic Games in Osaka , however, she and her team failed to Australia and China , so that Japan could not qualify for the Olympic Games. She was used in all games, scoring two goals, including the only one for Japan in their 3-1 opening defeat to Australia.

With 58 goals, five of them in an 11-1 win against the Republic of China / Taiwan on July 21, 2006, she is the second best goalscorer of the Japanese national team after the record national player Homare Sawa , who scored 83 goals.
