Arin Wright (* 25. December 1992 as Arin Hadley Walton Gilliland in Lexington , Kentucky ) is an American football player who since the 2015 season with the Chicago Red Stars in the National Women's Soccer League is under contract.
Career
society
During her studies at the University of Kentucky , Wright played for the Kentucky Wildcats university team there from 2011 to 2014 and played in the W-League - Ottawa Fury Women franchise in 2014 . In early 2015, Wright was signed eighth by the Red Stars in the first round of the NWSL's college draft . She made her league debut on April 18, 2015 against Seattle Reign FC . Between 2016 and 2019, Wright played on loan at the Australian first division club Newcastle United Jets at the turn of the year .
National team
In early 2014 Wright came to three appearances in the US U-23 national team as part of the six-nation tournament in La Manga .
