Michele Vasconcelos (* 11. May 1994 as Michelle Murphy in Sandy , Utah ) is an American football player who since the season 2018 with the Chicago Red Stars in the National Women's Soccer League is under contract.

Career

society

During her studies at Brigham Young University in Provo , Hatch played from 2012 to 2016 for the local university team BYU Cougars , for which she scored a total of 32 goals in 86 games and provided 30 assists. During the 2016 season she also played for Real Salt Lake Women in the United Women's Soccer league .

In early 2017, Vasconcelos was signed in eleventh place by the Chicago Red Stars in the first round of the NWSL's college draft . However, she missed the entire 2017 season due to her first pregnancy.

She finally made her league debut on March 25, 2018 in a 1-1 draw against Houston Dash .

National team

In November 2017, Vasconcelos took part in a training camp for the U-23 national team of the US Football Association .

Private

She married the soccer player Pedro Vasconcelos in 2014. In 2017 she gave birth to their daughter Scarlett.
