The Geely Jiaji is a van from the Chinese car manufacturer Geely of the Geely brand .
history
Geely presented a first preview of a van from the brand with the MPV Concept at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2017. A year later, the first pictures of the production model were published. In China, the vehicle has been sold as Geely Jiaji since March 2019 . From 2020, the Jiaji will also be built by the Malay brand Proton as a successor to the Proton Exora . With the X70 , Proton already offers a vehicle based on the Geely Boyue .
The BYD Song Max or the Lifan Xuanlang , among others, are regarded as competing models of the Jiaji .
Technical specifications
The van is available in different seating configurations. It always has three rows of seats, and it is available as a 2 + 2 + 2, 2 + 3 + 2 or 2 + 2 + 3-seater.
The Jiaji is powered either by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 130 kW (177 hp), a 1.8-liter gasoline engine with 135 kW (184 hp), or a 1.5-liter mild hybrid with 140 kW (190 PS) or a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid with 190 kW (258 PS). The mild hybrid uses a 48-volt on- board control unit , the plug-in hybrid has an 11.3 kWh lithium-ion battery , which should enable an electric range of 56 km.
