The Geely GL (also Geely Emgrand GL ) is a compact class sedan from the Chinese car manufacturer Geely , which, like the larger Geely GC9, was designed by Peter Horbury , the former designer of Volvo . The GL has been sold in China since September 2016; the sedan is not available in Europe. The Geely GL is technically closely related to the Geely GS SUV, which was also introduced in 2016 .
Technical specifications
Two petrol engines with an output of 95 kW (129 PS) or 98 kW (133 PS) were available as drive variants at the market launch .
In April 2019, the model range was supplemented by a plug-in hybrid drive with 190 kW (258 hp). This is also used in the larger Geely GE . In the GL, Geely specifies the electric range as 66 kilometers.
