The Geely Binrui is a compact class sedan from the Chinese car manufacturer Geely of the Geely brand .

history

The vehicle was first announced as the Geely A06 in May 2018 . The Binrui went on sale on the Chinese market in August 2018.

technology

The sedan is the first vehicle to be built on the Geely Group's modular BMA platform. The Binyue SUV was introduced before the Binrui, but sales didn't begin until October 2018.

The BMA platform is positioned below the CMA platform that Geely developed together with Volvo .

Technical specifications

When the car was launched in August 2018, only a turbocharged 1.4-liter gasoline engine with four cylinders and 98 kW (133 hp) was available. A turbocharged 1.0-liter gasoline engine with three cylinders and 100 kW (136 hp) followed in April 2019.
