The Geely GC9 is a sedan of the upper midrange segment of the Chinese car manufacturer Geely , by Peter Horbury , former designer of Volvo was designed. The profile is said to quote the Chevrolet Impala .
history
The GC9 was launched in China on March 9, 2015, and the vehicle has been sold as the Geely Emgrand GT in the United Arab Emirates since 2016 .
In 2016 the sedan was named “Car of the year” in China . In addition, the GC9 is considered the first domestic vehicle in China to be successful in the upper mid-range segment.
In April 2018, Geely presented the GE, a hybrid vehicle based on the GC9, at the Beijing Auto Show . This has been sold in China since the end of May 2018.
