Peter Horbury
Peter Horbury (* 1950 in Alnwick ) is a British car designer and chief designer at Volvo .
Horbury attended King Edward VII School in Sheffield . He studied at the College of Art in Newcastle upon Tyne and graduated in industrial design in 1972 . He later studied at the Royal College of Art in London (1974 Masters degree in car design). He was named Designer of the Year 1998 by the British magazine Autocar and has designed over sixty cars, buses, trucks and motorcycles in his 35-year career.
