The final round of the 18th Women's Asian Football Championship was held from May 14th to 25th, 2014 in two cities in Vietnam . The host of the tournament was not determined until May 2013 after the qualifying games had ended. Eight teams competed against each other first in a group stage in two groups and then in the knockout system . In addition to the Asian champion, the five Asian participants in the 2015 World Cup in Canada were determined.
