2014 Asian Women's Football Championship / Qualification

The qualification for the 2014 Asian Women's Cup will be played between May 21 and June 9, 2013. 16 national teams play for four places for the final round. The qualification is also the first round of qualification for the 2015 World Cup .

mode

The four strongest Asian national teams qualify directly for the finals. These four teams include defending champions Australia and the third to fifth placed teams in the 2010 Asian Women's Soccer Cup , China , Japan and South Korea . The other 16 registered teams were divided into 4 groups, which play the remaining four places in the final round in mini-tournaments. North Korea was excluded from participation in the 2011 Women's World Cup because of doping cases .
