The Amman International Stadium is a stadium in Amman , Jordan . It is the largest stadium in Jordan. It was built in 1964 and opened in 1968. It is the home stadium of the Jordanian national football team and of al-Faisaly . It has a capacity of 17,619 seats at international games. The stadium officially offers space for 25,000 spectators.
Also use it for the Jordan League , the Jordan FA Cup, the Jordan FA Shield, the Jordan Super Cup and has already tournaments such as Arab Nations Cup in 1988 , the Arab Cup Winners' Cup in 1996 , the Pan Arab Games in 1999, the Arab Athletics Championships 2003 , the West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship in 2005, the Arab Athletics Championships in 2007, the West Asian Football Federation Women's Championship in 2007, the West Asian Football Federation Championship in 2007, the Arab Champions League 2006/07, the AFC Cup 2007, the athletics 2007 Asian Championships and the 2016 Women's U-17 World Cup .
