The Jordan League (also Manasir Jordan Pro League ) is the top division of the Jordan Football Association , the Jordanian Football Association, and was founded in 1944. For the 2009/10 season it was increased from ten to twelve teams. al-Faisaly is the league's record champions with 33 titles so far.
The league is played with twelve teams in the round two, with all teams competing against each other. The champions and the cup winners qualify for the AFC Cup . The last two places in the league are relegated to the 2nd league (English Second Level ).
