Champeaux-sur-Sarthe is a French municipality with 167 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Orne in the region of Normandy ; it is part of the arrondissement of Mortagne-au-Perche and the canton of Mortagne-au-Perche (until 2015: Canton of Bazoches-sur-Hoëne ). The inhabitants are called Buréains .

Champeaux-sur-Sarthe is located about 32 kilometers northeast of Alençon on the Sarthe , which forms the western municipal boundary. Champeaux-sur-Sarthe is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Aubin-de-Courteraie in the north, Saint-Germain-de-Martigny in the east and north-east, Bazoches-sur-Hoëne in the south and south-east, Bures in the south-west and Sainte-Scolasse- sur-Sarthe in the west.
