Crulai is a French municipality with 858 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Orne in the region of Normandy . Administratively it belongs to the arrondissement of Mortagne-au-Perche and is part of the canton of Tourouvre (until 2015 part of the canton of L'Aigle-Est ). The inhabitants are called Crulaisiens .

Crulai is located on the Iton River . Crulai is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Ouen-sur-Iton in the north, Vitrai-sous-Laigle in the east and northeast, Irai in the south and east, Les Aspres in the south and west and La Chapelle-Viel in the west and northwest.
