Belforêt-en-Perche is a French commune with 1,678 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in Orne in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the canton of Ceton and the arrondissement of Mortagne-au-Perche .
It was created with effect from January 1, 2017 as Commune nouvelle through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities of Le Gué-de-la-Chaîne , Eperrais , Origny-le-Butin , La Perrière , Saint-Ouen-de-la-Cour and Sérigny , who have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative seat is in Le Gué-de-la-Chaîne.

Belforêt-en-Perche is located around 30 kilometers east-southeast of Alençon in the Perche Regional Nature Park . The Même River runs along the southern municipal boundary .
