The Soucek Ravine is a ravine on the Ardery island in the archipelago of the Windmill Islands off the Budd Coast of the East Antarctic Wilke country . It is west of the Penney Ravine .
A team from Wilkes Station discovered them in 1960 during biological studies. The Antarctic Names Committee of Australia named them after the Australian physician and polar researcher Zdeněk Souček (1917-1967), who was born in Brno , Czech Republic and who worked at Wilkes Station in 1960 and 1962.
