Saint-Sulpice-sur-Risle is a French commune with 1,672 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Orne in the region of Normandy . It belongs administratively to the Arrondissement of Mortagne-au-Perche and is part of the canton of L'Aigle (until 2015 part of the canton of L'Aigle-Est ). The inhabitants are called Saint-Sulpiciens .

Saint-Sulpice-sur-Risle is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-d'Écublei in the north, Chéronvilliers in the east and northeast, Chaise-Dieu-du-Theil in the east, Chandai in the south and southeast, and Saint-Michel-Tubœuf in the South, L'Aigle in the south and southwest, Saint-Symphorien-des-Bruyères in the west and Saint-Nicolas-de-Sommaire in the northwest.
L'Aigle-Saint-Michel airfield is located in the municipality.
