Bretoncelles is a French commune with 1,487 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Orne in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Mortagne-au-Perche and the canton of Bretoncelles (until 2015: canton of Rémalard ). The inhabitants are called Bretoncellois .

Bretoncelles is the easternmost municipality in the Orne department. It is located about 60 kilometers east of Alençon . Bretoncelles is surrounded by the neighboring communities
