tasks and goals

Analysis of ethical teaching methods in the EU partner countries

In a first step, the analysis of the status quo of ethical teaching methods in the partner countries was determined so that needs-based teaching materials can be developed in seven different languages. These are tested and optimized in a pilot phase.

European network for teaching values and ethical education

One of the long-term goals of the project is the establishment of a European network for the imparting of values and ethical education, which should contribute to a cooperative networking of teachers, experts, schools and other organizations. The German-speaking section of the European Network, which is already in operation and is still largely voluntary, works together in working groups and aims to offer innovative learning plans, freely accessible teaching and learning materials, teaching methods and advanced training for teachers. The educational, teaching and information materials are intended to support responsible teachers in the design of lessons and, through committed follow-up activities by the network, lead to the systematic further development of guidelines and guidelines for appropriate standards in ethical education.

Handbook for teachers and educators in European schools and kindergartens

As part of the ETHIKA project, a handbook for teachers and educators was developed. The publication is aimed at teachers, kindergarten teachers, educators and interested readers and represents a guideline for ethical education and values education (EBW) in European schools and kindergartens.
