Courgeoût is a French municipality with 451 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Orne in the region of Normandy ; it is part of the arrondissement of Mortagne-au-Perche and the canton of Mortagne-au-Perche (until 2015: Canton of Bazoches-sur-Hoëne ). The inhabitants are called Courgeoûtiens .

Courgeoût is located about 32 kilometers east-northeast of Alençon . Courgeoût is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bazoches-sur-Hoëne in the north, Saint-Hilaire-le-Châtel in the north-east, Saint-Langis-lès-Mortagne in the east, Parfondeval in the south, Coulimer in the south and south-west and La Mesnière and Boëcé in the west .

The National Route 12 runs through the north of the municipality .
