Sérigny is a town and commune Déléguée in the French community Belforêt-en-Perche with 387 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in Orne in the region of Normandy .
With effect from January 1, 2017, the previous municipalities of Le Gué-de-la-Chaîne , Eperrais , Origny-le-Butin , La Perrière , Saint-Ouen-de-la-Cour and Sérigny became a Commune nouvelle with the name Belforêt- en-Perche and have the status of a Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative seat is in Le Gué-de-la-Chaîne. The municipality of Sérigny belonged to the arrondissement of Mortagne-au-Perche and the canton of Ceton .

Neighboring towns of Sérigny are Eperrais in the northwest, Saint-Ouen-de-la-Cour in the north, Colonard-Corubert in the northeast, Saint-Jean-de-la-Forêt in the east, Dame-Marie in the southeast, Appenai-sous-Bellême in the South and Saint-Martin-du-Vieux-Bellême and Bellême to the west. On its western flank, Sérigny has merged with the town of Bellême in such a way that you can only recognize the town crossing when you are driving through town by the respective town sign.
