The Faisal Al-Husseini International Stadium ( Arabic ملعب فيصل الحسيني الدولي, DMG Malʿab Faiṣal al-Ḥusainī ad-duwalī ) is a football stadium in al-Ram in the West Bank , Palestine . It is the home ground of the Hilal al-Quds Club from Jerusalem and the Palestinian national football team . Opened in 2008, the facility is named after Faisal al-Husaini , a Palestinian politician who died in 2001. The venue offers 12,500 seats.
The first international game took place on October 26, 2008 between Palestine and Jordan . It was Palestine's first home game in over ten years. Almost exactly a year later, the Palestinian women's team also played their first home game against Jordan in the stadium .
