The South Korean women's national soccer team represents South Korea in international women's soccer . The national team is subordinate to the South Korean Football Association.

Within Asia, the South Koreans cannot prevail against the strong teams from China , North Korea and Japan . The only World Cup participation reached the East Asians in 2003 at the World Cup in the USA, but there they lost all three group matches and were eliminated. Kim Jin Hee scored the only goal from South Korea.

In 2004 the U-19 women became Asian champions.

On June 1, 2012, the best place in the FIFA world rankings was achieved with 15th place , with the South Koreans benefiting from Iceland's slide.
