Changnyeong WFC is a soccer franchise based in Changnyeong , South Korea . The franchise competes in the WK-League , the highest women's soccer division in South Korea.

history

The franchise was founded in early 2018 after the Icheon Daekyo WFC association was dissolved. Shin Sang-uh was introduced as a trainer .

present

In their inaugural season, the club did not get past the last place in the table and finished it on this place. They did better in the club cup. Thanks to the 3-0 win over Daegu WFC , the club took 2nd place in the group stage and qualified for the quarter-finals. There they met Gumi Sportstoto , but they lost 5-0. In the league cup, the club was eliminated in the first round at Suwon UDC WFC , with 2: 4.

The following season did not go any better: the club ended the season in 8th place and was thus last. The club did not get far in the club cup either: they were eliminated in the group stage. Also in the League Cup they were eliminated in the quarter-finals against Seoul WFC with 2: 3 in the first round.
