Boeun Sangmu Women's Football Club is a soccer franchise based in Boeun , South Korea . The franchise currently plays in the WK League , the top division of women's football in South Korea. South Korean female soccer players play in this franchise during military service.
history
The franchise was founded in 2007 and has been playing in the league since the WK League was founded.
In the first WK League season, Boeun Sangmu WFC reached 5th place. The following season was worse than the previous season. The team reached only 6th place in 2010. In 2011 they were able to reach 4th place at the end of the season. That was her best placement in the WK League so far. In 2012 they could no longer build on their previous season performance and only reached 8th and last place. In 2013 they could only reach the 7th place. The 7th place was the last place in the league season of 2013. In the following season they could reach the 6th place. The franchise came in last in 2015, making it the most unsuccessful team in the WK League.
