Genki Nagasato ( Japanese 永 里 源 気 , Nagasato Genki ; born December 16, 1985 in Atsugi ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Genki Nagasato learned to play football in the youth team of the second division club Shonan Bellmare in Hiratsuka . Here he signed his first contract in 2004. After 102 games for the club in the J2 League , he moved to league rivals Tokyo Verdy in 2009 . Here he was on the field 36 times. After a year he moved to Avispa Fukuoka, also playing in the second division, to Fukuoka . In Fukuoka he scored 15 goals in 35 games. In 2011 he moved to Kofu to Ventforet Kofu , a club that played in the first division, the J1 League . In mid-2011 he was loaned to the second division club FC Tokyo for five months . He moved to league competitor Gainare Tottori in 2013. After a season with Tottori, he signed a contract in Thailand in 2014 . Here he joined the first division club Ratchaburi Mitr Phol to Ratchaburi . By 2015 he had scored 16 goals in 63 league games. He moved to second division Port FC from Bangkok in 2016. By 2017 he played 32 times in the Thai Premier League Division 1 . At the end of 2016 he was third in the table with Port and thus rose to the top division. In 2018 he returned to his homeland and joined the regional division Tokyo United FC . At the end of 2019, he ended his career as a football player
