Gainare Tottori ( Japanese ガ イ ナ ー レ 鳥取 , Gaināre Tottori ) is a Japanese football club from Tottori Prefecture . Official hometowns are Tottori , Kurayoshi , Yonago , Sakaiminato and all other places in the prefecture. He has been a member of the J. League since 2011 and has played in the J3 League since 2014 , of which he is one of the founding members.
The club name Gainare is made up of the word gaina ("large" in the regional Umpaku dialect ) and the Italian word sperare ("hope").
history
The club was founded in 1983 as the "Teachers Football Club Tottori" ( 鳥取 教員 団 サ ッ カ ー 部 , Tottori Kyōindan Sakkābu ). Six years later, other professional groups were also allowed to join the association. After qualifying through the Regional League Play-Offs in 2001, Gainare Tottori rose to the JFL .
On October 3, 2010, the club was able to secure a place in the top four of the table with a 1-0 home win against Arte Takasaki and therefore qualified early for the J. League Division 2 2011 . In addition, "Gainare" won the JFL title on October 24, 2010, five days before the end of the season.
In the J. League Division 2 Gainare Tottori never got beyond the lower quarter of the table. At the end of the 2013 season , the team rose after a defeat in the relegation games against Kamatamare Sanuki in the newly created J3 League .
Stadion
Since the promotion to the J. League, home games have mainly been played in the Tottori Bank Bird Stadium in Tottori . In addition, individual games in the J3 League will take place in the 7,390-seat Chūbu Yajin Stadium in Yonago .
